Summary:

This program offers multiple ways to take highly engaging courses, with options ranging from single courses to a full year program. The year-long program of study is recommended for English learners who want to study for multiple CEFR levels for an extended time. Each GlobalED English Language Learning Course is aligned to the Common European Framework Of Reference for Languages (CEFR) standards Pre-A1 through C2. A full curriculum scope and sequence is provided for each course level. CERR aligned English Certification is included in every level. Learners will have access to all Pre-A1 through C2 CEFR study modules and instructors for a period of one year. Successful completion at each level means learners will earn a Certificate and 4 Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) per completed level. Successful completers will receive all data validating their credentials in a personal blockchain-secured digital wallet.

Placement Test:

Each GlobalED English Language Learning Course is aligned to the Common European Framework Of Reference For Languages (CEFR) standards pre-A1 through C2. A full curriculum scope and sequence is provided for each course level. CEFR aligned English Certification is included in every level. Certificates will be printable and will be provided with access to a personal blockchain-secured digital wallet for each learner.

Each learner begins by taking a placement test to provide us with their current level of English. The system will automatically send the results and will recommend the next level as the starting point in your GlobalED English Language Learning Program.

Single Level:

This single module program of study is recommended for English learners who may only need to complete a single CEFR level towards a certification program, or others who want to study for one level at a time. Each level takes approximately 40 hours of study time to complete.

GlobalED certifies that these courses are fully aligned to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), so all learners develop English skills every step of the way. In order to move from one CEFR level to the next, learners must successfully complete a series of mastery tests within each level. Once the learner has mastered all necessary language concepts for their CEFR level, neo will automatically open the appropriate Certification Test.

6-Month Program:

This 6-month program of study is recommended for English learners who want to study five (5) or more levels in a period of six (6) months.

In order to move from one CEFR level to the next, learners must successfully complete a series of mastery tests within each level.
